Together with the park operator Mainsite, TUM Interantional developed a competence center for its Initiative for Interdisciplinary Regional Development (IIRD). Pilot applications are the logistics center and the expansion plans of Mainsite for the Industrie Center Obernburg (ICO).

The impact of these modifications on the traffic situation in neighbouring towns and the region were analysed with support of TUM expertise. Visualization of site accessibility and simulation of multi-modal traffic scenarios support Mainsite’s planning activities as well interaction and cooperation with regional stakeholders.
