TUM International GmbH has signed a cooperation agreement together with the agency responsible for Uzbek universities (Agency for the Development of the Presidential, Creativity and Specialized Schools).
To highlight the importance of the project, TUMint's CEO Friederike Hettinger travelled to Uzbekistan at the beginning of July together with Prof. Wolfgang Herrmann, former President of TU Munich and now, Honorary President of New Uzbekistan University.

The New Uzbekistan University has set itself the goal of becoming a lighthouse for science and technology in Uzbekistan, but also throughout Central Asia. Global knowledge, coupled with industry-oriented research and an innovative mindset are to make the new university a catalyst for the Uzbek economy in the long term. In recent years, the Uzbek government has increasingly put education back on the agenda. With the New Uzbekistan University, another important step is now to be taken to educate highly qualified students and outstanding talents.

We as TUM International GmbH, will among others support the development of the university's management strategies and contribute to the establishment of a high-quality academic education. In addition, we will promote an innovative mindset within the framework of the development of an innovation ecosystem and provide support in the area of quality management.
