EIT Urban Mobility aims to become the largest European initiative transforming urban mobility. Co-funding of up to € 400 million (2020-2026) from the EIT, a body of the European Union, will help make this happen. EIT Urban Mobility is above all a network and its 85+ partners are Europe’s leading companies, research and education institutions and cities. They cover the complete value chain from vehicle and traffic technologies to urban planning, data services, energy, retail, financial services and engineering. TUM International has served as project management office in the proposal and start-up year and will now become actively engaged in EIT Urban Mobility training and business creation programmes and support the process of putting solutions into practice.
